Before joining 18 Red Lion Court in July 2007, Marc Cannatella developed a successful criminal practice at East Anglian Chambers. He undertakes defence, prosecution and private prosecution work in all areas of Crime and Health and Safety.
He prosecutes for the CPS in Essex and London. He also undertakes private prosecution work at Crown Court level for solicitors in East Anglia, including benefit fraud cases. Defence work covers the full spectrum of Crime, including mid-level frauds.
Health and Safety work includes defence cases and advising a local district council on all issues referred to their legal team. He has also undertaken a large number of Courts Martial cases in both England and Germany, on the recommendation of the Army Legal Service.
Magistrates' Court work includes motor offences, planning law, noise abatement and Food Standards Agency cases.
