An indication of private fees can be given in advance and will be subject to final confirmation once Counsel has had the opportunity to peruse papers. Publicly funded fees will normally be calculated and finalised at the conclusion of the matter. However, a detailed estimate can be provided if required. The basis of any fees chargeable or suggested will be noted on the case record and will be taken into account prior to either negotiation or the rendering of counsel’s fee.
